Tsaatan Journey (3-17 August 2027)
€4,290 per person
About Tour
A fifteen-day journey into Mongolia's remote northern wilderness to spend time with the Tsaatan - one of the world's last reindeer-herding peoples. The group is deliberately small, maximum four travellers, so the encounter stays intimate and the pace stays human.
You travel by 4WD and horse into the taiga forest, entering the reindeer herders' summer territory, and live alongside Tsaatan families - reindeer herding, tepee life, plant medicine, and ceremonies with the community's own spiritual practitioners.
Guided throughout by Shaman Bulgan Windhorse from the Gobi Altai, with quiet days on the open steppe to absorb what you meet.
