Refund Policy

Requesting a refund

Send your request to info@mongolianspiritualtours.com with your booking reference and the reason. We acknowledge every request within 5 business days and aim to confirm the outcome within 14 business days.

How refunds are calculated

Refunds are based on the total tour price, less the cancellation charge that applies on the date we receive your written request, and less any non-refundable costs already paid to suppliers on your behalf.

Your 25% deposit is non-refundable in all cases except where we cancel the journey ourselves.

Full refunds

We refund everything paid to us, without deduction, when:

• We cancel a departure for any reason, including insufficient numbers, safety, or force majeure.
• We are unable to provide a materially equivalent journey after a significant change to the itinerary and you decline the alternatives offered.
• A duplicate or incorrect payment has been taken.

Partial refunds

Where a confirmed inclusion cannot be delivered - for example a cancelled domestic flight leg or a closed heritage site - and no comparable substitute is possible, we refund the supplier cost of that element.

No refund is available for

• Services not used during the journey, or leaving a journey early.
• Missed arrangements caused by late arrival, visa refusal, or missing travel documents.
• Changes to the programme caused by weather, road conditions, illness, or the decisions of local authorities.
• Removal from a journey because of unlawful or seriously disruptive behaviour.
• International flights, visas, insurance, or other services you arranged yourself.

Insurance first

Cancellation for medical or personal reasons is normally covered by travel insurance, not by the tour operator. We will provide the invoices, receipts, and written confirmations your insurer needs to process a claim.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned by bank transfer to the account used for payment, in euros, within 30 days of confirmation. Bank transfer charges and currency-conversion differences are borne by the traveller.
