About Tour

A sixteen-day journey into the northern taiga to live with the Tsaatan reindeer-herding community. This second August departure runs a slightly longer route and welcomes a larger group of up to eight travellers.

Days move between travel, ceremony, rest, and quiet time in nature, giving you room to absorb what you meet rather than rushing between sights. You spend five days with Tsaatan families - reindeer herding, tepee life, plant medicine, and ceremonies with the community's own spiritual practitioners.

Guided throughout by Shaman Bulgan Windhorse from the Gobi Altai. Suitable for travellers aged 16 and over.
